What is When Baby’s Home?
A private postpartum support planner. A family organizes practical help, shares one private household link, and opens a real 28-day schedule when baby comes home.
Who creates the support plan?
An organizer signs in, creates the household, chooses activities, sets windows and boundaries, and manages the household link. The owner can also prepare a private invitation for another trusted organizer and remove that access later.
What kinds of help can we include?
The starter set is meal delivery, dog walks, errands, video check-ins, and family-chosen visits. Organizers can customize those patterns or add another practical scheduled activity.
Can far-away friends participate?
Yes. Meal delivery, video check-ins, and a virtual on-call bench are first-class ways to help from afar.
Do helpers need an account or an app?
No. Helpers use a household-scoped private link in their phone or desktop browser. They do not create a global When Baby’s Home account.
When do helpers see real dates?
Before homecoming, helpers choose activities without claiming an unresolved date. When the organizer opens homecoming, the plan resolves into real dates immediately. Claims open after the 10-minute undo window.
Can the plan change after baby comes home?
Yes. An organizer can change open schedule windows inside the four-week plan. A window held by a helper stays under that helper’s control until they free it.
How private is the household link?
It is scoped to one household and can be replaced or disabled by an organizer. It is still a capability, so families should send it only to people they trust.
What information can helpers see?
Helpers see public activity descriptions and the schedule states they need. They do not see another helper’s name or task-private instructions such as a door code.
How long can a support plan run?
The current v1 schedule opens 28 days measured from the household’s homecoming date. The broader brand speaks to postpartum support, but the shipped scheduling limit is four weeks.
How much does it cost?
Public pricing has not been announced. Access remains invite-controlled during private-beta preparation.
Is this medical or postpartum-health advice?
No. When Baby’s Home coordinates practical support. It does not provide medical care, clinical guidance, or health monitoring.
What happens if a helper’s plans change?
A helper can free any future commitment without affecting their other commitments. For something happening today or tomorrow, the product first gives a gentle confirmation and then alerts active organizers.
