When Baby’s Home

How it works

One private plan, from the first offer to the first weeks home.

Families prepare useful kinds of help before birth. Friends and relatives choose what sounds right without promising a date. At homecoming, the same plan opens into a real 28-day schedule.

For organizers

Make the plan once.

  1. Choose meals, dog walks, errands, video check-ins, visits, or a custom activity.
  2. Set weekdays, time windows, public descriptions, and private instructions.
  3. Share one household link with the people you trust.
  4. See which activities interest people before dates exist.
  5. Open real dates when baby comes home and watch commitments take shape.

For helpers

Choose the thing that fits.

  1. Open the family’s private household link. No global account is required.
  2. Choose nearby help or something useful from afar.
  3. Before homecoming, select activities without making a date commitment.
  4. Return when real dates open and claim one or several times that work.
  5. Manage only your own interests, on-call choice, suggestions, and commitments.

Before homecoming

Interest is not coverage.

A helper can say they would like to bring a meal or walk the dog. That is a useful signal, but it is not a confirmed date. The family’s pre-birth pattern stays planning data until homecoming gives it real calendar dates.

At homecoming

One action opens real dates.

The organizer enters the household-local homecoming date. The four-week pattern resolves into days 0 through 27. Helpers see the dates immediately, and invitations wait through a 10-minute undo window before sending.

Through the first month

Keep the next useful thing visible.

Helpers see their chosen activities and real dates first, then today, next, and the complete schedule. Organizers can adjust open windows after launch. A helper always controls their own commitment.

A focused product

Practical coordination, not a social network.

When Baby’s Home does not provide medical advice, fundraising, chat, a public family page, or a helper marketplace. It gives one household a calm way to coordinate practical support.
